56th founders’ day at Starehe Boys Centre.

The path of duty is the way to glory. This was really the case when we were invited at the 56th founders’ day at Starehe Boys Centre. The founders were the late Dr. Geoffrey Griffin and two co- founders, the late Geoffrey Geturo and the late Joseph Gikubu. Although gone now, they are remembered each year for their great work. The school’s Vision is “To be a global Centre of excellence in youth development, effectively providing quality academic and leadership skills geared for the promotion of a just society founded on high moral principles”.

The above is surely true as we saw many old boys of Starehe who are doing very well in the society and are giving back to the school. A good example were three former classes that brought money to the school yesterday and more was promised. We at Learning Means feel very honored to be working with this great institution.
